The RecordExhibit 63
Pardoned 77 allies who tried to overturn the 2020 election
CriticizedLast checked Sep 30, 2026
Criticized means: Legal, or a policy choice, but widely condemned.
Trump pardoned Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Boris Epshteyn and dozens of fake electors.
What happened
The proclamation called their prosecution a grave national injustice. The pardon attorney announced it by replying to his own earlier post: 'No MAGA left behind.'
Where it stands
Pardons cover only federal crimes, and none of them was charged federally; the state cases were already faltering. Legal, but it rewrites the record of 2020.
The administration's side
The White House frames it as ending an injustice and continuing national reconciliation.
